Microsoft introduced the beta version of Skype service for Web

Skype company (read Microsoft) presented the new service Skype for Web, available in beta version.

You can see it at skype.com, but it is not all, because the developers open

a new feature in stages. For the full launch will take several weeks.

Skype for the Web will work on Internet Explorer 10 (and above), Google Chrome, Safari and Firefox. The first time, to carry out video calls you will need to install a special extension, but this need will disappear due to use of RTCtechnologies.

Through this service, many users will be able to draw their attention on netbooks running Chrome OS, which recently became the leader of sales in the education segment in the United States.
