Google soon will improve the performance of the browser Chrome for Android using the new project, called Project Ganesh.

The company plans to transfer all of the calculations from the processor that is currently minimized travel times

all the code on the accelerator, which meets only for displaying information on the screen of the device.

The main problem of the Project of Ganesh is the diversity of accelerators in the mobile market. The test is applied to the internal build of Chrome Canary, which operates only on a limited number of chips. Developers also reported to work and to reduce the prožorlivosti of the browser Chrome, which is often the main cause of the rapid consumption of battery and CPU resources.

Project Ganesh

It is unclear how quickly the Project of Ganesh is integrated into a stable version of the browser. Apparently, Google needs to take a pause, while it will work on most current accelerators.
